@Markbell73 They are literally the same, men have been complaining that "This new generation is just so weak!" since like the 1400s, seriously, its a trope. People do what they need to do when they are put in the situation they need to do it. The reason we dont have 19 year olds carrying around BARs is because theres no reason for 19 year olds to be running around carrying BARs, thats it.

@johncena-hq1ti They are widely available as civilian arms in Europe what are you talking about? Heck in the EU they can have former FA guns with the auto sear removed without cutting up the reciver and rebuilding it

i think its not so much they will "Go back" to the M4 but that they will not replace it, I see the M5 getting blended into the squad structure as an everymans DMR

Period era writings, even from protest groups and anti war organizations, near always referred to draftees as victims not perpetrators. the "They spat on them when they got home!" thing was a lie made up in the 80s by reganites

@sethwallace4878 can be tuned to be pretty much the same and the difference is really not much of one, for a target shooting gun, sure, go series 70, for something your carrying around if for some unholy reason your carrying around a 45 1911 in 2024, series 80
