Some people respond to extreme stress with laughter for a variety of reasons ranging from neurological, being overwhelmed emotionally, to a simple reflexive coping mechanism that in this kind of scenario was inappropriate. I literally do this if someones mad or agressive twords at me for any reason i start laughing, its reflexive and has basically nothing to do with how i actually feel about this situation
