@aluvrianne Thats the horrible part ive noticed with these things, it doesent take much exposure to cause a problem, but it happens so much later that someone could end up accumulateing quite a bit with no indication anythings wrong because it takes decades, Then the company gets off totally free because by the time people are starting to get sick they already stripped the place and left a decade ago

@rocket3254 Yeah that would easilly drive me nuts, atleast with alot of things theres a strong degree of randomness, sure genes and lifestyle play a mesureable part but while you can stack the dice in your favor theres always the possibility of snake eyes. With this youd have over 3 months of feeling horrific to ponder how if you only dident let your gaurd down youd still be fine, like we have all done SOME kind of lazy short cut at one point or another because we where just over it that day, its only human. Just so happens in his line of work that means if it goes wrong your not looking at a couple bits of paperwork late, but destruction down to the genetic level

@rocket3254 Probably, though i feel like there would be a kind of distinct horror to getting hit by enough radiation that your literal chromosomes are annhialated. I mean possibly not, guess the end result is the same either way, but something about that just seems distinctly lovecraftian in a way, its not just the body failing, its the fundimental building block of what makes a person a person being bleached out of their very bones

@baconsarny-geddon8298 Its true they botched the plan, but if they had achieved synthesis of pure sarin that would not have mattered. pure sarin will kill a room full of people from the vapors coming off a drop the size of the tip of a needle. The fact they did not have the capability to make a pure chemical combined with their failures to complete their plan successfully saved thousands of lives. if they did their synthesis correctly even their screw up would have lead to the death of everyone in the subway, in an area connected to the subway, or on the streets above the subway where airvents where present

@Astromyxin And? they where contracted to make a chemical and they did, what the buyer does with it is not their problem

Naval gun blows up The Bush administration: "Someone check if there was a homosexual in the gun room, that would explain it!"

@SeanHartnett-t8c if they did or dident is fairly irrelevent to being responceable for the actions of the end user

I feel like getting on any vessel called the "Free enterprise" is kind of rolling the dice with your life at that point

@kahlzun Seems like at that point whatever super gnarly drugs that seem vaugely interesting, go for it, then check yourself out when the symptoms start if you know your way over the LD/50 for your radiation dose, then just check out on your own terms
