The US has culture aswell, people are just oblivious to it since they live there. Sometimes peoples lack of perspective irritates me

Part of it also has to do with how news organizations are entirely private and very competitive, they make flashy storys so that people watch them over the other guy, then in an attempt to get the newest scoop often validity gets thrown out the window, or things get edited to sound more or less important

@pigboat659g6 sounds like your awfully defensive

Depends where you are, Also most guns are carried concealed

thank god. If the mock ups always end in mass murder the real mc'coy might end up takeing out chunks of the total human population

In America being fixated with race is kind of a social trend in the big urban citys, its kind of a "Look how in the know I am" type thing, Basically they make up issues so that they can look like they are on the forefront of fixing those issues. Its kind of like how theres a pervasive myth in the US that woman get paid less even though that was banned decades ago, but saying "I'm for equal pay" is kind of like a buzz word people use to identify if they are amongst the like minded

Here on the California coast we barely wear shoes outside!

Depends, some of it yes, the flag stuff is still over the top, and guns after going out of style a bit in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, are making a huge resurgence in popularity. Which I love of corse as I have more people to share the sport with! Compititions are poping up everywhere!

Meanwhile I collect Serbian military rifles a sea away

@pigboat659g6 I know you like to reminisce on your days of sucking off the whole ship but remember actions have consequences

This is not true at all, I own guns, I my friends own guns, never had any issues, shooting is a social activity here, you go out to some nice outdoor spaces either designated ranges or public land, set up some snacks and targets and have fun with friends. Guns are very simple, there is loaded, and there is unloaded, aslong as its unloaded and pointed in a safe direction no one can get hurt
2
Oh come off it you know that's BS Oliver, look at south America and Africa, is the US the best medical system no, but it does have very high quality treatment for those who can pay
2
America really doesent have an issue with shootings, you have to remember the numbers look big but many states in the US are bigger than entire blocks of Europe, so it adds up higher simply because we have more people, crime has been going down here for decades. I'm an American, I have never been shot at or threatened with a gun once, and I live in an urban area and frequent shooting ranges and gun shows
2
but what if you own a casino?
1
That's a myth, if you are buying a gun from a booth you still need a background check. Its federal law, that's just a made up thing that got passed around the news here a few years back to try to scare people into wanting stricter rules
1
Probably not smart to amit your chinese on a website that its a crime for you to visit.

Gregory, I think that's because people hop on the "Me to" style train. Just because everyone else is doing it, doesent mean its a good idea for you to!
1
That I feel would be more enjoyable, that's how I did it as an American, I never did the school activitys, I just hung out with friends
1

Hes reffering to how boob jobs and pushup bras are big here.

You see as an American that seems weird to me, if you have a gun why not carry it with you. Especially in hikeing areas, guns are very common here.
1
Guns are a social thing here in the US, people hike out into the woods and shoot with friends. people are not going to look at you weird here for doing something that is perfectly normal in our culture. People don't look at guns as weapons here as much as fun sporting items, or for those of us that do have guns as weapons they tend to be more specialized than what you would take out for recreational shooting
1
you see, the problem with your statement is "Need" America is not about what you need, its about what you want
