@rajanlad Heres the deal man, when the time comes, BE HONEST about your lack of experience, and BE OPEN with learning, no ones going to shame you for not knowing, they will shame you for not asking.
Ask her what she likes, where she wants things, ect, LISTEN and you will do just fine man, relax, and if shes rude about it than she was not the one anyways.
Everyone has a first time at some point

@moodycxnt Lets not forget that he also has, like nearly every other UFC fighter, moderate to severe brain damage. You can literally hear it as the mangled remnants of his various cortexes and lobes attempt to coordinate their signals into something that makes sense.
Hes a sad creature destroyed by a bad up bringing, mixed with the a steady diet of TBIs, and bad right wing talking points.
Think about it this way, brain damage tends to lead to victims going towards conservativism as their ability to reason is impaired and the fear of the unknown that results fits perfectly with conservitive narrative.
take that, then add someone who by default, identified with the nazis.
Honestly i almost feel sorry for the poor thing, it just lives in this perpetual swirl of pain, fear, anger and saddness as the bits and pieces of of what was a person stir around in a soup of cooked neurons and scar tissue

I dont know i think quite the opposite, i have a model 12 that slamfires, and out of stubborn determination i wanted to get good at it,
It can be quicker than conventional shooting but only with alot of practace, because in the process of bringing the pump forward its easy to throw your aim.
after sacrificeing many cases of cheap birdshot, i can say comfortably my slamfire times are infact faster, but it requires far more concentration to aim and kind of requires a shooting form of its own. Only real practical use i could see would be bird hunting, because the thing is while it is quicker, its not much quicker, and it requires focus that i cannot imagine youd have while being shot at also doing it accurately at any kind of distance requires shooting from a stand still, which again, does not seem conducive to surviveing a war.

EpicRandomness Different kinds of music, not comparable. also they made many songs far better than that "One good song" you mentioned.
Look up radio friendly unit shifer, Territorial pissings, Negitive Creep, Lounge act, Breed, and the list goes on. not only showing its a compelatly different kind of music but that its different subject matter, Nirvana dealing more with Anger, hard parts of life, and Fighting ones inner demons whilist GNR has a more traditional style (With exception)
Drain you, Serve the servents also deserve mention, Really theres not a "Bad" nirvana song.

@V3RTIGO222 Being so allegedly knowledgeable you should know what hot particles are,
old pattern nuclear bombs did not detonate nearly as completely as modern ones do, and the incomplete reaction blows radioactive specs of the reaction material that accumulate like any other metal in wildlife, which when eaten, accumulate in humans.
Being an individual and walking around a containment vessel is sure, very safe, and im sure being a tourist around there bares no risk to individual health. Problem is if you live there, you eat the fish, you play in the sand a spec here, a spec there, many radioactive metals accumulate in the bone marrow like lead and are removed by the body at a leisurely pace meaning continual exposure. Now you have someone whos got substantially higher than background levels in their body and they get pregnant. Now that baby is forming in an environment thats actively interfering with DNA doing its job.
So sure, standing on the dome is safe, that does not mean that the community that lives there are without health problems

haveing peeped his writeings while doing a paper on the history of amphetamine use, abuse, and the changes in the illicit market, it came across to me as a dude whos tweaker fixation has him charting novel routs for synthesis, because the whole thing is full of all sorts of wierd routs that are technically possible, but either impractical in even a legal FDA licensed facility due to easier options and immense expense, or outright dangerous.
Im no chemistry expert, My schooling is in History and Sociology, but in my skimming, not only where the D and L isomers routinely mixed up, one of the routs involved the use of a metalic catalyst in a reaction that, with my again minimal education in chemistry, stood out as something that would be violently exothermic, and was not listed as such, nor was any mention made in regards to the fact. If a clueless academic as myself could spot that one a mile away i shiver to think of all the other potentially catastrophic runaway reactions that could be hidden in that book that could very well kill the misguided individual trying their hand at unlicensed pharmacy

through a series of odd events, most of them, ended up in the united states in the 60s, all in firing condition, and where available in surplus shops that sold guns for quite a while as they where slow sellers, the guns where fairly inexpensive but the utter impracticality of it for, really any sporting use at all, and the cartridges where expensive.
late 90s early 2000s millitary small arms collecting became more mainstream in the US, before that lots of people had handguns and sporting rifles, but "army guns" where not trendy, with the trend they went from fairly inexpensive odditys to high dollar collectables.

To put in a bit of perspective, i WAS raised correctly in regard to socio emotional stuff, and despite my best efforts to do the right thing, whatever part of my brain needed to start developing inorder to fully understand that stuff did not start kicking in until recently at like 23, So theres a neurological development bit in there on the inverse side of the social one you mentioned aswell. Despite having all the required ques and reinforcers i just couldent "get it", and frankly my behavior before the fact was embarrassing at best, totally unhinged at worst.
heck i dont even know if i would get it now if the impulsive side of me that was running the show at the time had not gone and obtained stimulant medications and utilized them at a more than recommended amount, something flipped on like a light switch and has stayed on since where it now feels i have enough perception and control of myself to understand the world around me. Interestingly enough also shut off the compulsion to do that type of thing.
Before even with the right information and very much wanting and trying to do the right thing and be considerate because thats who i feel i am and want to be as a person, there was just a missing piece i dident have that prevented good judgement despite the best of intent, and apparently my dad dident really "get it" until his early to mid 30s, so there is definitely like you said both a nature and nurture aspect, as clearly something that runs in my familly slows that part of development down substantially while the rest zooms ahead.
Should i have kids though im getting them those medications as soon as possible, id imagine at a more moderate level early on and carried on that development could happen more naturally without the confused development followed by abrupt clarity

No, they get you high, and while your high you feel connected to other people.
Dont get me wrong if you like them you like them, have fun, but takeing amphetamines will make you feel close to other people to, heck MDMA (Methylene Dioxy MethAmphetamine) (Yes, Molly/Exstacy is a derivative of methamphetamine) Is the most empathetic drug around, because your speeding and your body is dumping love hormones in every direction, You could take that stuff and think the color of a pepsi can is a profound revelation on the nature of man or something.
Now that CAN be helpful to some people, but with any drug what you get out of it is what you put into it, drugs can HELP YOU make the changes you want to, they wont change things for you.
If you want to be a better person and find a drug that helps you work your mind tword accomplishing that, then that drug will HELP YOU MAKE YOURSELF a better person, The worst guy you could think of could take whatever love drug of the month is trendy and will still come out awful

@IndigoRichard I mean it can help them focus some, just to a lesser extent because they are not coming from a deficit.
Amphetamines dont make you smarter, accumulateing information through reading, school and research do, amphetamines however make those things much easier.
so you get what you put into it. I have Severe inattentive ADHD, the drugs dont fix anything on their own, i have to put into it, use my management stratagies and continually redirect myself to get the desired outcome, otherwise im the same scattered person as before BUT NOW ENERGIZED.
Also this idea that people with ADHD cant get high off it is BS not backed by any scientific literature, when i was figureing out my correct dose along the way i went to high, and i was absolutely wired no question about it. Felt great! but got absolutely nothing done, so i backed it off and now have great success. The fact that i, as someone with severe ADHD, a condition marked by poor impulse control, was able to do that without a hint of trouble shows that the addictiveness of these drugs is far overstated
Molecules only do what they do, its the human ingesting them that dictates if its done responsibly or irresponsiblely

@traceuse13 And thats the thing, it very much is an error in your cognitive process, as someone who as a teen had full on paranoid delusional thinking, retrospectively, i can clearly see it was illogical and have no real concerns with it being a problem again,
but especially if the problem starts young and you dont have enough life experience to counter, its easy for your brain to start picking out everything as a threat, then train itself to look at the world from that perspective.
"Stop worrying" doesent mean throw caution in to the wind, it means you need to really thoroughly assess, with a trusted friend, familly memeber or therapist if needed, these thoughts and figure out if they are actually resonable concerns.

No but also yes.
Meth is neurotoxic at certan blood levels, like many drugs its not inherently toxic at the correct dosage. which, according to the FDA, is 25MG for children, 40MG for adults daily. At those dosages excitotoxicity is not triggered. at to someone with no tollerence, those can absolutely get someone high.
the problem is when people chase the dragon so to speak, the dopaminergic system physically cannot make someone feel high after someones been exposed to peak levels for a prolonged perioid of time, the "High" comes from spikeing levels, once the body is too comfortable with high levels, no high can be had.
If someone knows that, cools it and goes to bed it can be used therapeutically and even recreationally without harm. Medically thats not to difficult as the dosage tends to be sub recreational, once people are trying to get high though the self control aspect can be very difficult to maintain

25 and definitely did not have an easy start, just keep tackling it, when something goes wrong, humbly assess why, work down the mechanics, what behaviors and thoughts need to be improved.
its not easy nore does it provide immediate satisfaction, but youll know each time you identify and fix something that your makeing steps.
and remember, the chunk of your brain that makes it easier to do that has not started doing its thing yet, happens in steps, you will be astounded by the clarity of thought that kicks in around 20-24ish, but dont wait for biology to make it easier, get your head start even if its hard

whats interesting is these lack of addictive potental does not necessarily mean lack of harm
Im a huge advocate for the availability of prescription amphetamines, i think they have been unfairly stigmatized as far more dangerous than they really are and i think at low dosages lots of people could see quality of life benefits even without an underlying condition.
A big reason for this is that they are very very rarely addictive, its highly uncommon for someone to developed any kind of physical dependency,
THAT BEING SAID, one of the reason i think it should be available but under a DRs supervision is because while they are not physically addicting in a clinically significant way, they can have a habit of on occasion makeing a task that is in reality nothing special seem overwhelmingly important, like cleaning your house. So important even that you feel its pertinent to pull an all nighter at this very moment, to insure that kitchen is clean.
If someone is aware of this, and has guidence from a DR, than impulse can be noted for and avoided, and worst case scenario supply is limited by the prescribing physician in a way that prevents binges, but if its freely available someone could easilly end up in a binge and crash cycle regardless of the low addiction potential

yeah i think weed in the long term has alot to be discovered,
i cant think of any other substance that has such a wide range of reported, and sometimes even paradoxal subjective effects,
people report being stimulated, relaxed, cognitive sharpening, poor comprehension, being motivated, being apathetic, and so on and so on.
Theres something to that, makes me wonder how much someone's impression going in has to do with it? does the way we feel or what we want to do at that moment effect what reaction is received?

@guristu No im informing you the history of the era, at many times in history communism has been a popular movement involving civilians overthrowing an oppressive government. Cuba, Vietnam, China, Yugoslavia ect, where overthrowing dictators in their revolutions, the problem is power vacuums being what they are another dictator invariably fills the empty seat.
The countries your thinking of where the Baltic states, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria, which where infact just under flat soviet occupation.

@sacr3 Common myth, stimulants to not "slow down" the brains of people with ADHD, they instead regulate them.
the brains of people with ADHD for one reason or another either reuptake neurotransmitters to quickly, or dont release enough. This can be observed in the fact brains of people with ADHD tend of have 15% to 25% more dopaminergic neurons, the concentrations of dopamine are not enough on their own, so the brain trys to produce more, but the problem of rapid reuptake remains, this leads overtime to breif huge surges of excitability followed by a rapid crash, dozens of times a day.
What stimulants do is excite the nervous system and release a huge amount of those neurotransmitters, filling up the background so that the normal releases in response to activity are not working against a huge deficit. which allows the brain to relax not by slowing it down, but by speeding it up enough that it can keep up with itself.

Its not impossible that could happen at some point, the AR is an interesting design in the fact that it was not only a trailblazer in its own right, but by the quirks of its design the very same design choices that made it cost a bit more than its contemporaries in the 60s in the age of the CNC machine has made it incredibly inexpensive to produce even in smaller shops.
Meanwhile the AKs economics of scale worked great, in the context of state run and equipped non profit arsenals. The assembly line gets set up with tax dollars and after that all your paying for is labor, In the modern context this doesn't check out, and while new Russian AKs are still cheaper than other options on the international military market, largely due to legacy machinery as the 100 series had heavy subsidies behind it, combined with the rapid price decrease of the AR platform you end up with a situation where a country that wants AKs, will likely just buy surplus cold war stock and be content, as for only a bit more than the cost of a new one, an AR becomes available.

@NightRunner417 Yeeeep, severe ADHD here which comes with rapid and strong mood swings, i know its my problem, ive never felt the need to attack others for, not haveing my problems, i make a note of seperateing myself if i cant keep things under control because its not right to screw up other peoples day just because my heads wandering off that day, if anything keeping enough controll over myself as to not cause problems for others gives me a little bit of joy
at the same time, people who have not experienced these types of things need to stop speculating on them, you can be in it, out of it, somewhere in between, and its not your call, you just wake up that way, or get set off one way or another throughout the day, but the thing is mood disorders make you more likely to hurt yourself, not someone else, blameing these shootings on people with problems upstares is just a destraction from the social and policy issues that let these shootings happen. Funny how the people who blame the mentally ill for these shootings also refuse to provide free healthcare

3DotEntertainment Ahh here comes that argument. I was hopeing for something more intelligent. Look, I get it, it sucks, but all your doing is giving him more attention, as far as the law goes, he did nothing wrong and can nolonger be prosecuted for that crime, so by making a big deal about it all your doing is giving him more attention. And no I wouldent worry about it, not because I dislike anyone, but because it doesent change the situation whatsoever, basically, its pointless to worry.

You see, im not wholely convinced its a conspiracy of higher ups, im convinced its a conspiracy against ourselfs, people dont want to think deeply about things, because sometimes that leads to unpleasent feelings, so they rush to the seemingly happy go lucky alternative of highly sexualized and hedonistic media as it appeals to the more primal mind. the thing is deep down, the real emotions are still there, and thats why people are unhappy, because the continually ignore themselves, every time they get that little nagging tinge of sadness saying "Do greater" insted of useing it as fuel to success, they run to hedonistic media to fill the void, but deep down the nag gets stronger and as such more extream and explicit media is required to temporarily quell it, untill it gets to the point the nag is so large to address it would take months of self discovery and improvement. and that thought, being terrifying to the individual consciously and subconsciously, leads them to again take the easy way out.

The same drug you call speed is perscribed here in the us (amphetamine sulfate) as an option. Im not advocateing breaking the law as i dont know your countrys pentaltys, but look up how to wash speed, if you can find good quality stuff you can test and varify is not contaminated with another drug get all the cutting agents out of it (it freely dissolves into a solution in water, the fillers wont) dry it, acetone wash it afterwards then you can simply follow the FDA guidelines for doseage of amphetamine sulfate for ADHD
typically for an adult thats 10-25MG per dose (start low and slowly move up until you feel normal and clear headed then stop there) put it in a capsul or in your tea and see how long it lasts. Depending on the person orally it can be 4-6 hours and is normally taken 2 to 3 times a day. Ususally on waking and another with lunch, some people who process it quickly like myself might take another in the early evening if it does not effect their sleep. Or some people do On wakeing, mid morning, lunch then let it wear off before bed, its preference.
not recommending this per say, and i dont know the purity of your drugs in your country and what resources are available to check them, nore what any criminal penaltys are. but if i was in a similar situation and truely felt hopeless about it its something id atleast think about. IF i was positive i could be methodical and precise

Easy, convince people that an out group is less than, dangerous, evil or corrupting, from there its only a small step to paint them as less than human, this is what happens after that.
You see that type of talk all the time, could be about jews, could be about mexican people, black people, lgbt people, its why its important to shut that down early because this is the end result

My problem with all of the non stimulants also is the inflexibility,
with stimulants you just take them when you need or want them, need to go to work or school? go for it, want to paint, draw, do whatever your hobbies are? go for it, but dont want to take any that day? then dont. Theres no ill effect and they will work just as well when you do want to.
I want to have the ability to modulate my mental state as needed for the situation at hand, IR adderall or dexadrine let you do that, the long acting stuff kind of takes it away but atleast you can skip days,
stuff like this? not on my radar, i dont want to have the freedom to choose my state of mind limited.

@Lapshism Mix of truths, there was not necessarily a shortage of arms for the red army, but penal battalions where a thing, as they are now apparently, they would take political dissidents, criminals, ect, and send them without arms to charge enemy positions in order to try to deplete ammunition stores before main attacks. It was not so much they did not have weapons to give said solders, its that they did not provide them because they where not trusted with weapons and their role was more to burn out the enemy with the added bonus of the fact the half of them that where probably slated to be executed anyways where shot down with German bullets at German expense.
Now the benefit to these penal battalions was that if the individual did manage to survive they where granted a full pardon, and folded into the general red army where they would be provided standard equipment.
Before you try to say "nuh uh," im related to people who where there, on the opposing side mind you, and they all say or said that Russian attacks where almost always headed with penal group charges to the extent that it still horrified the people who witnessed it 70 years after the fact.

@JoseAlfonsoContreras-g9l It doesent. I was raised in a super "nature focused" hippy familly and only tried meds as a last resort.
If you have ADHD theres NO magic diet or anything in nature that will accomplish what proper medication will, and thats from someone who very much tried all of it, fish oil, high carb, no carb, no dyes, "whole foods" ect ect, name it and ive done it, all of it entirely ineffectual, to add to your initial point, my culture is based around fermented foods, so that one can be checked off the list too.

@hannahelvete Yes they do, quite literally the exact same effect, the differences are that we get more benefit from their use, (people without ADHD generally preform about 5-10% better at tasks involving fine motor skills, working memory or sustained attention, while people with ADHD often preform 80-85% better, which in theory should actually make it more reinforcing for us) and that the dosages tend to be more precise, and usually just to the point where the desired effect is achevied.
if you have a pharmacutical tablet of 20MG amphetamine, you know what your getting, and you know what your dosage range is, amphetamines are a substance with a very wide dosage range based on the individual, and often 5MG or less can be the diffrence between a comfortable experience for one person and tweaking out for another.
When people are useing illicly made amphetamines theres simply no way to accurately dose them without equipment most people have no access to, try telling the diffrence between 10mg of white powder, 7.5mg, and 12mg, its doseing too high that leads to compulsive redoseing that leads to runs and binges, which leads to crashes, which leads to dependence to avoid said crashes inorder to stay functional.

@leneo1731 Why would acupuncture do anything for ADHD?
as for the ethics of methamphetamine perscription, its done rarely explicitly in cases where someone with ADHD thats causing severe detrimental effects to their quality of life, and they either
A. Do not get enough effect from amphetamine or dextroamphetamine at a safe dosage (For example, some people just have unusually high amphetamine tolerance for purely biological reasons, someone like that might need 100MG of something like, adderall, to get therapeutic effect, which would better be treated with 25MG of desoxyn to avoid their heart beating out their chest.)
Or B. Suffer side effects from amphetamine or dextroamphetamine they cannot tolerate but benefit from said medications, contrary to the stereotype methamphetamine is actually a very "Soft" stimulant on the body, at even higher theraputic dosages it does not particularly effect blood pressure, heart rate, ect, and its far less likely to provoke anxiety, this makes it very important for a small number of people who do NEED help, but cant handle other meds.
unfortunately the relative lack of side effects also make it easier for abusers to misuse at giant dosages that would be impossible to match with other amphetamines.
So in short, its used rarely, for good reason, but the people who need it, really do need it to obtain any kind of quality of life.

@tolstartheking A big issue with how speed is presented that gets people into problems is this narrative that you use it once and get immediately addicted then all your teeth fall out and you die. When the reality is amphetamines, from prescription to illicit all have the same issue from their misuse, they feel great in a oddly "natural" way and atleast initially there's virtually no consequences, not even a next day hangover
so you do it again, and you do it again, then you do it a couple times in a night, a few nights in a row then it starts wearing off and you feel sick, well thats because youve been up for 2 or 3 days and havent eaten, but now its monday and you have to be functional, so theres your excuse for another round, and it works great, so you figure its your get out of jail free card for missing some sleep, or a meal, or getting drunk the night before, and it is, until you start feeling muscle pains and stiff joints, go to the DR and realize your nutrient deficant and underweight because youve been skipping 6 or 7 meals a week for the past 5 months
Conversely, even in resonable dosages they can up your capability of work school and life preformance to such a spectacular extent that you begin to plan your schedual around them, except now when your out your entire life will fall appart, so you go get more, then youve maxed perscriptions out, then you buy it illegally, and it escalates from that point because your no longer limited by supply, and the illegal stuff is almost always meth, which lasts longer and has even fewer percived side effects.
and in both cases all the rest you skipped will hit you like a truck 24 to 48 hours after you stop
most amphetamine type stimulant dependence is not tweakers smokeing half grams of meth, its people who let it wiggle a bit too far into their lives, then realize too late their life is now structured on it

@aquariumdude7829 the ammo and also the fact by that point the lee design had been in use with the british for nearly 50 years, thats alot of logistics set up for the system, small parts replacements, spare stocks, huge amounts of new old and refurbished models in inventory, and at the time besides the US M1 and Russia (SVT series) no one was really fielding semi autos in any meaningful quantity, especually not any nation they anticipated fighting, after WW1 they figured the days of european wars where over, they where instead planning around being a colonial power asserting themselves over tribes that either did not have firearms at all, or did not have modern ones in considerable number
In short, they figured they had plenty of time and saw no urgent need to rush it

@theoriginoffruits Not all humans, some, which is what makes sobriaty an accomplishment, Ive been prescribe opiates, for me that spark whatever it is just is not there, theres no opiate out there that im going to compulsively seek because the feeling of sedation is innately unpleasant to me. but for some people (Insert drug here) is a warm hug they cant pull away from.
Most people who have used opiates in a medical context come out with no ill effect, they take them to deal with pain after something severe, they heal and its done and done. the problem is that 1-3% that get a sensation out of it that most either dont get, or is a sensation that for most people is not particularly remarkable but for some reason they do.
These things need to be handled with empathy and compassion because at the heart of the situation, no one wakes up in the morning and thinks "Man i want to be an addict", theres something there, a combination of emotions and sensations, that give them that compulsion and thats really not their fault
1
-
@comettamer Thats the bit people dont realize, haveing talked to opioid users and haveing used them myself on perscription for management of post surgy pain, the people who get addicted to the stuff have something going on, be it physiological or emotional, that gives them some spark out of them that most people dont get. My experience with them was simply feeling nauseous, sedated apathetic, and a general feeling of unease, when ive talked to people who had or have a problem with them they describe feeling comforted confident, motivated, at ease, and even energized.
While willpower is a factor it can only go so far, theres a chemical element involved

@WMC1980 No no its not, also the brain is not a muscle. Its often impossible to specifically identify the form of dementia until post mortem, but it can be determined via cognitive tests if aspects of cognition are beginning to fail, at this stage you dont even need the tests to see it, listen to him talk.
Old men often ramble a bit then come back around to the subject after a tangent they got 80 something years of memorys stored up and the brain likes drawing connections, so a story from today might remind them of a story from 40 years ago they quickly summarize before getting back to the point.
Bidens display is not that, hes doing the "repeat the pattern of a sentence without understanding what the words do" thing, ive seen this before at old people homes, it goes down rapidly from there.
within 2 years someone else will need to feed, dress, change and hydrate him, at best. Hes at the point where coaching just cant fill the gap anymore because he doesent have enough brain cells left to work with, we are looking at the frame of a person thats being rapidly hollowed out

This is nonsense, its simply the iron law of prohibition at play, first off, why would you smuggle heroin which is more expensive and carries a higher penalty as a schedule 1 substance which carrys a huge sentencing modifier over fentanyl which is schedule 2 owing to its substantial medical use (epidurals for child birth? Mix of fentanyl along with Novocain, epinephrine or ephedrine to keep the analgesic effect localized, the short half life makes it ideal for this use as dosage can be adjusted easilly as needed) Pain relife in an ambulance following traumatic injury? Fentanyl, again because its short half life.
Second off its cheaper, can be synthesized without plant material, no grow operation required nore smuggling of bulky plant life to a lab.
Third off its more potent, if it gets caught at customs your out a 10th of the cost of the cost of heroin but if it gets through you get 1000x the dosages to sell per kilo.
Its no conspiracy, its simply another example of why stronger regulations equal stronger drugs, same reason why unlike most of the world most of the speed available in the US is just meth, why bother makeing amphetamine or dexamphetamine when the penalty for meth is the same, the cost is the same to make and it gives you 3x the dosages per weight?
You want less drug deaths? let people get recreational prescriptions.

@antihypocrisy8978 Yes, because people die sometimes,
Theres no evidence whatsoever to show people die after getting the vaccine,
correlation does not equal causation, though you may not understand what that means so let me break it down.
People have died after vaccination, yes, However theres no link to show that that person died because of the vaccine, for example, man dies of a heart attack, ok, but that man already had high blood pressure for 10 years and did not take medication to improve it,
so yeah the dude died, but did he die from the vaccine? theres no reason to say he did.

Yeah like take adderall and Dexedrine both are different tools for different jobs, Adderall is far more effective for focusing on a single thing and getting it done but Dexedrine is vitally important in that if i have a depressive episode or the good ol PTSD acts up that stops it in 30 or 40 min, Adderall can make it much worse, also Dexedrine much better for overall executive function and just being able to get up and do stuff, laundry, chores, emails ect. but it doesent provide the focus needed for more intense tasks. That combined with ALOT of management stratagys, segmented lists, timers, ect i can manage things well enough to meet the bar of "Functional". But all of it must be upkept meticulously, one med without the other, wont work, all the meds in the world but no lists? wont work, ect

More like "sides", like an 18 sided dice or Enantiomers in chemistry,
some sides will be wrong, and to varying degrees, more often than not no one will be completely in the clear, but theres definitely sides more responsible than not.
For example, germany started WW2, all the atrocity's committed stemmed from and where often direct parts of German activity, that being said, was firebombing Dresden, a German city with extensively no military infrastructure mostly occupied by displaced civilians a morally just act? I think even US centric scholars would find that claim dubious

How is this much better than a USGI ammo can for storage? the USGI cans come wrapped 2 to a box with steel wire, so you cant just clip a case open steal a couple boxes and reseal it, but you cut the wires, the wooden box disintegrates and you have nice resealable steel boxes with ammo pre loaded onto magazine chargers. The clever things that stand out to me are how the wood used in the outer box is just very thin pine boards, the wires doing most of the work, so once its opened you dont have an empty box takeing up as much space as 2 ammo cans, and you dont need solders to be breaking down boxes when theres undoubtedly more important things to be doing. And second, the chargers are pre loaded with spoons, you get good at it and you can reload a full combat load of magazines in 3 or 4 min.
This is contrast to the soviet system of chargers for the AK74s where they where issued in the ammo pouches (if they came at all) and where expected to be loaded in the field by hand along with the magazines to be used for topping up magazines quickly. I cant help but think with the time required to open the ammo can, load the chargers, then load the magazine it may be faster to just not bother with the chargers

@esotericoutcast641 Sure people go missing, and they also die, get in automotive accidents, fall off of high things, get lost in the woods or any number of bad outcomes, what about it?
you dont drive down the road obsessively assumeing that every tree at the stop light is going to fall and crush you to death, that would be a rather unwarrented fixation, wouldent it?
Likewise its an unwarnted fixation to assume every time someone leaves they house they are in immanent danger of abduction, especially considering how rare that actually is.
So yes, she does need to stop being so paranoid if such thoughts are regularly causeing distress to the extent its literally impeding quality of life, thats stuff you go to therapy for not encourage

@kstreet7438 If your not doing anything wrong then theres no reason you should carry the guilt for others actions. Like almost every drug from cocaine to fentanyl to meth these substances where all designed with a medical use, often very narrow ones but within those uses they are just as legitimate as penicillin for an infection
Meths limited to treatment resistant narcolepsy and treatment of people with severe ADHD who have unnaturally high tolerances to stimulants or experience adverse effects from other meds, only 2-4 thousand people in the US have that prescription in a given year, ive never heard them blamed for shed operations blowing up trailer parks
cocaine is used in only 2 or 3 nasal/optical/sinus procedures because how small an amount is needed for numbing in areas where theres physically not enough space in the body for adequate dosages of other topical anesthetics. So as a result every year a small, but more than youd think, amount is manufactured legally for that use, no one getting a sinus issue rectified is blamed for the Colombian drug trade
Fentanyl is for most uses, unnecessary of even suboptimal due to narrow theraputic index and short half life, but you know what no one complains about? Epidurals during child birth, where its short duration and rapid uptake is ideal, or in your instance where the highly lipophilic nature of that particular molecule allows it to get to pain receptors often missed by other opioids. I think it would be equally absurd as any other example here.
almost all of these drugs became problems in society because layers of complex social factors, and none of these issues take away from the legitimate medical uses these otherwise potentially dangerous substances have.

Just saying she sure seems to call herself a woman more in an interview or post than a cis guy would in a lifetime, while when saying shes a male theres more often than not there's a suspiciously persistant *Biological astrisk put there first, and curiously little "man", just "male"
i mean come on girl this is the messiest come out i think ive ever seen and thats comeing from someone who ran with "definitely cis, i just cant sleep shirtless without a sports bra because it makes me uncomfortable, and yeah actually sure ill just wear them anyways, not trans though, i just get super anxious and for some reason this fixes it, guy things you know?" for like, 6 years totally failing to connect the dots.
i mean come on, trial comeing out to your mother during a elaborately set up "Experiment?" nah, you just wanted to have the "I WAS ONLY KIDDING!" rout if it went south.

I was fishing at one of the lakes he flew over when it happened, it was an odd experience watching, as a teenager, this dudes joyride knowing it was probably his last hour or so, wierd visualization of a very extreme death.
I dont find his actions in themselves "inspirational" and by all means it would be better if he dident do that for his and his families sake, but i do find something honorable if not simply remarkably lucky, that a man so off his face to do this, would still manage to, in his headcase full of presumably chaotically misfireing neurons, have enough consideration for others that in his profoundly extreme act of self destruction a very active effort was made to make sure he was the only casualty.
I dont view his actions as relatable or inspirational, but i view his dedication to making sure his problems stayed his own even in what was probably an incomprehensibly disoriented mindset something that warrants acknowledgement, especially in a world where those bent on destroying themselves far too often seem to decide others must go with them

@Michael Miner Absolutely, however in the current climate we are never going to just get our rights back in one fell swoop, you have to do a little marketing, think about it, if you went straight to deregulating full autos the media would flip and it would never pass, you have to be gradual, drop the Hughes amendment, keep the NFA and people will quickly forget the whole thing even happened, it will become the new normal. from there, then you can push for canning the NFA, but the media is uncomfortable with even semi autos right now, theres no way they would let the deregulation of select fire weapons get by in one swoop

@andrewandrews7427 Me personally? No
Tolerance with amphetamines is a tricky thing because you have two factors at play, sensitivity and tolerance.
Sensitivity is your body learning how to optimally utilize the substance, meaning for the first bit of using it the same dosage will actually work better upto a certain point before it levels off, for me it was about a month and a half. This is separate from tolerance and doesn't reset the same, if you take a week or two break it will take some time for your body to optimize but it will take more like a 2 or 3 days than a month, from what reading ive done this is life long, once your body learns how to most efficiently uptake the substance its like rideing a bike.
Tolerance on the other hand works like any other substance, that being said for consistent therapeutic effect its generally considered unnecessary to take tolerance breaks, once someone finds the dosage and redose cycle that works for them if they stick to it they can get very consistent results. The old school DRs will say you should take weekends off if possible, newer ones will often say thats unnecessary. For me in my experimentation ive done both, heres what i found
In 3 months of doing 15- 20 MG per dose 2 to 3 times a day i found therapeutic response (improved focus, improved mood, optimism, depression relief) stayed consistent throughout, many people take long acting tablets and get consistent results for years, i prefer instant tablets because they start working quicker and you get control over dosage and how often instead of take once in the morning and your on the ride 14 hours. Also sometimes depending on what you ate or if you ate ect you might need more or less, so i like the flexability. Also when i take 20MG i prefer to take 15 MG than 5 MG an hour later to avoid the headrush which is more recreational than useful. (save that for special occasions)
Takeing weekend breaks i found you do get for a lack of better words a noticeable "high" Monday and Tuesday but it doesn't seem to be any more useful therapeutically, once the headrush evens out the actual improvement in mood and focus is the same.
haveing done both in practice i just take them when i feel the need, I dont find tolerance has become a factor in therapeutic effectiveness at all
One thing i cannot emphasize enough is just how non addictive they are at therapeutic dosages, I take them when my ADHD symptoms interfere with quality of life or if my mood is unmanageably bad, and occasionally to do art stuff, at no point in a year or so of having them on hand have i ever experienced any withdrawals or cravings when not taking them.
For depression i think they are incredibly underutilized to the point of borderline malpractice, SSRIs can take months to work, if they work, in the process of finding a SSRI someone responds to and the correct dosage it can take a year or more on average and even then comes with the borderline guarantee of sexual side effects. Stimulants provide relief in half an hour and in my experience can improve your baseline mood.
If you have felt nothing but horrible for years on end just the experience of feeling good and knowing that it is possible to feel ok can really change your perspective twords the better.
So theres my speech, call me an amphetamine evangelical if you will but they can absolutely be life saving medications that are critically under utilized due to stigma

Thing is amphetamines do make you smarter, 3-5 IQ points on average, the problem is people get hooked on the headrush aspect of it kicking in.
instead of appreciating the longer lasting effects on improved memory, cognition, self awareness and coordination, they compulsively use it in increasingly irresponsible ways (Snorting, smokeing, IV) to obtain that rush.
Second problem is methamphetamine is frankly just too strong for most peoples needs, its reserved medically for people who have an unusually high tolerance to amphetamine or who get side effects that cant be tollerated, for the vast vast majority of people meth is just not needed, they can get all the good effects from other amphetamines, without the wierd compulsive tweaker behavior. By useing some other amphetamine compound thats realistically probably quite easy to get from a DR.

@DarkAttack14 Yeah i think the problem with stimulants is its a confident flow state in pill or powder form
In moderation it can really help you work through personal issues, finish a project, spark creativity or break out of your shell socially, if your being mindful of that it can be a wonderful experience.
but you have to keep in mind,
"i am on a drug, this drug will make me, confident, sharp, and inevitably i will overestimate my ability's, but everything i can do or experience while on it i can do while off it, its for learning how and having an experience" If your being grounded and pokeing fun at yourself its fine. If that parts not explained to you prior it can get dark fast.
thinking you can solve your lifes or the worlds problems in a few seemingly obvious steps then suddenly realizeing you cant when it wears off can be brutal, and i think when people take amphetamines at face value without keeping the nature of the drug in mind, thats where the addictive cycle can easilly start.
Getting wired is a here and there experience to be had on special occasions or to overcome roadblocks in life. Otherwise chaseing that feeling daily is a fools errend

@TeresaCastillo-us9wf As someone prescribed the more controversial "fun" drugs" and having drank to excess prior following a similar desire to put anxiety at bay, given your mindset and history, if its a "it might be fun!" thing, just dont touch it, if its an anti anxiaty thing proceed with caution, and have an honest and preferably while sober, and on it, to ask yourself if your use is responding to a legitimate anxiety disorder, or just normal nervousness through the week.
Im by no means a wide ranging drug user, occasional weed mostly for relaxing muscle tension due to stress, alcohol, and dextroamphetamine/Adderall and my family history is one remarkably resistant to addiction. The problem with anything that relives anxiety or makes you feel confident is that its vary easy to talk yourself into why you need to consume it. Meticulous effort needs to be put into determining if a reason to go for it is to reduce a symptom of a problem, or just to try to avoid normal discomforts that are just part of how your brain guides you to do what you need to do.
Even with a familly resistance to addiction mindfullness is required to make sure responsibility is had. If you know your prone to addiction id be cautious, while weed is less dangerous than most the thing is if your prone to anxiaty, which is a horrible feeling, something that gets rid of it can easilly become a compulsion
