  1. If you get caught in a rip tide you swim along the shore , (parallel to the beach) to get out of the rip tide and then swim in ! You can also hold 1/4 of your breath, just dont breath out all the air-keep 1/4 in your lungs and it will keep you afoat ! and lie on your back at float if you get tired ! At 62 , Ive been a certified scuba diver for over 51 years ,
