  1. Would have. Could have. Should have. The problem is the work wasn't done 50 or 75 or100 years ago and the current owners have to deal with what's there now and today's problems. If they're very fortunate and very smart they'll try to deal with tomorrow's problems too, which previous owners never did.

  2. Love the house, like the owners, but this video is so incomplete as to be virtually useless. What happened to the brewery? One actors' workshop and one half-day corporate retreat are fine--but to project a lucrative yearly income from these two trial runs is ludicrous. What happens when the one, overworked, handyman quits? Is there a Part 2? What happened next? To imply that this couple's pipe dreams came true and they lived happily ever after is dishonest .Maybe it did all work out, but there's no evidence of that in the video.
