  1. Absolutely true!! And practically every report of the story gets this wrong. The boy (Adul) didn't ask "What day is it?", he just said "What day?" This was in response to the diver saying many people were coming to help--the boy asked "what day"--meaning "when"--are they coming? At least one boy's watch was still working and they knew what day and time it was and how long they'd been there. The boys themselves specifically confirmed this when they appeared on the British TV show "This Morning."
