  1. It would be kind of embarrassing if the press contact and government advisor of the Royal Danish Naval Academy wasn't the best. If some armchair general, who packs frozen fish for a living, did a better job I'd be raising some serious questions about the hiring and training practices in our military institutions.

  2. The funny thing is that the faster Russia loses, the less likely Putin is to be dethroned. The longer, and more painful, the whole things becomes, the more time sub-groupings within Kremlin has to do the whole touchy-feely process of figuring out who is with and who is against, without falling out of a window for disloyalty. Putin currently has a strong grip on the power and "traitors" are outed and dealt with swiftly. If Ukraine magically liberated all their territory before years end, then suddenly a large budget would become available to keep the average Russian happy (or at least less unhappy), but another 2-3 years of wartime economy in Russia will undeniably cause more friction and dissatisfaction..... and it's always a lot easier to topple the current leader when general discontent is at an all-time high.
