  3. The second I found out Russia could not get a true combined arms strategy working I knew Ukraine was going to win.... Eventually. Every time in modern history where the defenders have managed to throw a spanner in the works and change the situation from "blitzkrieg" into "defiant will against resource" it has ended the same. Desert Storm saw no "spanner". Vietnam was "nothing but spanner". Russia in Afghanistan was "nothing but spanner". The second Hitler's invasion of Russia was brought to a grinding halt the tide slowly turned.
