And to keep spying eyes away from their cutting edge classified sniper program you waste a lot of the budget on making an under ground 500m shooting range to make sure they don't even know what wind is. Then someone realizes this mistake and you spend more money on installing fixed-step blowers that can only blow perfectly perpendicular to the shooting direction. And now, to make ends meet in the budget, the snipers spend more time in the classroom than on the shooting range. With enough theory and paper tests they only need to shoot about 10 shoots a month during their 3 month hyper modern training course.

  2. It is also important to have good barrel cooling for a sniper. A press-on barrel shroud with plenty of speed holes should do the trick nicely. But since weight can become an issue it should be aluminium. The speed holes might as well be M Lock so they can attach their slings anywhere they like while we're at it.
