  1. Basically anything you're not going to fire from a bipod or swivel mount would ideally be around 300-400RPM. At 5-7 shots per second you can fairly easily learn to shoot singles on the full fun setting, and it doesn't take THAT much practice to learn to counter the rhythm of the gun to keep it reasonably on target. For stable platforms it's basically a tradeoff between logistics of ammo vs how aggressively you want turn things into Swiss Cheese(TM).
