  1. Complete BS. Even from an anti-gun perspective this accomplishes absolutely nothing. It doesn't get semi-auto rifles off the market. It doesn't even limit or restrict semi-auto rifle availability. It only annoys the firearms nerds. Not the paramilitant nutcases. Not the volatile fringe political fundamentalists. Just the nerds who like to tinker with shit and custom build their toy precisely to their liking. This is like trying to stop illegal street racing by going after a manufacturer of chromed rims.
