I don't want to even guess at the price. Norwegian salaries are good by any standard, so even if the gunsmith is willing to "eat" all the RnD hours that went into his personal copy, and build subsequent copies for just material and labour cost, something as nice as this is going to be.... ugh....

@timecapsulechronicles If that is largely driven by real estate loans, then it's a good thing, but if it's largely driven by consumer loans then it's a bad thing. Without seeing the distribution between the two the statement is worthless.

@Snaake42 It varies. When the interest rate, inflation rate and unemployment rate are all low the wages stabilise at a point where living expenses are easy to manage for most wage classes. That drives consumer loans up, as people think the payments are manageable and they'll rather have "stuff" now if it means they'll only pay 5-10% more in total amount down the line, but don't have to wait saving up. People here aren't afraid of debt traps per se (strong legislation on consumer loans help!) but most people are also sane enough to only take up relatively short loan periods, so even when conditions do change (like the recent inflation hike) the pain is temporary. But yes, compared to other places you can say, as a general statement, that the Nordics aren't consumer loan heavy.
