  1. The real fact is that Russia had bought some land from Sweden, land with all the tribes living on that land at the time of a deal. Exactly as the US bought Alaska land from Russia. But Russians gave freedom to Finnish people, gave them their land to live at. Unlike Alaskan Indians still living under US occupation, Fins live on their own thanks to Russian generosity.

  3. How did your uncle could possible appear in Siberia after the war? Probably hi didn't tell you the whole story. It was quite a good mood in Soviet Union towards allies, especially pilots. Allies big bombers were landed in Soviet Union for refuelling for the way back home and so on. And some sudden arrest of British pilot with sending him "to Siberia" to keep him with "other allies pilots" sounds quite strange and out of any reality on the ground at that time.

(Although prisoners of war would not have been legal either) The last Hungarian "prisoner of war" was found in a Russian mental hospital sometime in 2000. (681,955 Hungarian prisoners of war were deported to Siberia between 1945 and 1960. The country's population was 9 million) Hundreds of thousands never returned home. The German data is even worse. It's worth reading up on it". Yeah, bad bad Russians were grabbing innocent Romanians, Germans and so on on the streets of Stalingrad to send all that innocence to horrible "GULAG" in dark "Siberia". It's unacceptable behaviour, isn't it.
