  1. As a Canadian myself, I'm amazed at how squarely Andrew, who is not a Canadian, hits the nail on the head. This is the thing I keep harping about here at home. Justin Trudeau is NOT the problem. He is simply the public face OF the problem. Getting rid of him is easy; getting rid of the people and the mindset that elevated him to power is not.

  2. Right there with you, pal! Couldn't have said it better. Agree 1000%. I've got one aging parent left and after that, I am f*cking OUT of here! And yes I agree, things will eventually swing back the other way, they always do, but it ain't going to happen while I'm alive and there's still a long way to go before we reach rock bottom. As Andrew is fond of saying, "stay and fight" if you want but you're not going to prevail when the tide is against you and for me at my age, it's a battle I have no interest in. @chriswhite0

  3. Over the long term, yeah, probably. Culture does tend to change over time and I don't think this time will be any different. But in the short term, no; not much can be done which is why I've made plans to leave. I'm too old and I have no desire to spend the few years I have left fighting a losing battle against a rising tide.@mbh114
