I expect there will be a steady stream of countries looking to cut their ties to Russia in the years ahead. No one wants to be tied to a sinking ship.

@snooky3 China is going to share the same fate. Maybe not as quick but it's coming. They are on the verge of a full fledged financial meltdown, international corporations are finding other sources of cheap labor, their demographics are collapsing at an astronomical rate and their "wolf warrior diplomacy" is seriously rubbing people the wrong way. They have exactly zero friends in the world and the only "allies" they have are a few Asian and African basket cases they've either bullied or bought off. China gains nothing by tying itself to a failing, dying colossus like Russia except perhaps some momentary, superficial satisfaction for having stuck it to the west. The problem though, is that China desperately needs the west but the west doesn't need China at all.
