Greg was right about both Carville and Mahar. They care about themselves and their own lives first, last and always. They are both very talented in sounding reasonable and coming off as somewhat sensible but they fully support every single thing the Dem party stands for and would never vote anything but blue. I actually watched every single minute of that interview and as hard and irritating as it can be to sit through nearly two hours of two liberals bobbing their heads to whatever the other one is saying, it's also quite revealing. Two liberals, two people of like minds in a relaxed setting, drinks are flowing, a little smoke, they're comfortable in each other's company and that is when the guards come down and the truth comes out. That's when we find out who they really are and what they really think. They're both clever enough to not quite come right out and say directly what they're thinking and what they believe but not quite clever enough to realize that not everyone who sees and hears them is on their team and that we can see right through their act. Maher particularly, has made it his stock in trade to be the sensible one; the "old school liberal," the "classical liberal." That is a crock! Listen to him long enough and often enough and you'll see just how much of a crock it is. People who invent fake personas for themselves always reveal their true self eventually. People can't be "on" all the time, especially in a relaxed setting where they think they're safe. They always give themselves away.
