  1. The Germans wouldn't be so far up Sh*t Creek if the id iots hadn't shut down their nuclear generating capacity. If you're a major industrial power and you're looking to either transition to clean energy and/or transition away from your dependence on other, possibly hostile, nations for your energy needs, it takes a really special kind of stupidity to shut down the one thing that's the obvious solution to both. I have an awfully difficult time feeling any kind of sympathy for anyone who f*cks themselves.
