@Mister_Underhill because as a Socialist you will have internal advantages to fund internally. Not externally like US that basically broke the worlds economy. That's where the saying comes from. If Uncle Sam sneezes the rest of world will catch the colds. pls take things in this channel w grain of salts. The ideas that the dollar must be weakened would only benefit one country l. It's China who got caught for secret deals.

Exactly. Basically the wholesale rate stemming from 40 year debt cycle. Because of back to back currency these central banks utilized.. The strongest would be Yen as seen in gold price growth in Yen. The weakest would be Chf.

Wouldn't happen. Japan is now the largest creditor for the US and owns massive assets in many countries. Exports and investment are good enough to maintain the aging population as long as these elderly stay as active workforce far longer than their parents. It's a cultural thing I would say

Thar was because these companies had under invested for at least a decade. Meaning they incredibly reduced the number of new rigs and wells which means the depreciation costs became lowest ever. The same illustrations if a company stopped expanding into leasing a bunch of new stores for 10 years.. So I understand that on accounting basis they recorded the highest profits because their cumulative costs have been reduced significantly. Maybe they wait for clear policy to switch to renewable because essentially Green policies are hurting the oil industry

The fundamental of money supply has shifted to money reduction. Gold is a defense play because restoring the assets valuation will take some time.
