@catherinehaenni6100 the West Sanctions blocked the access for Russia to foreign currencies transactions!! That clause of the contract doesn't seem applicable anymore because basically World Bank single handedly turned off the tap. So you still think Russia could not do the same to you arrogant pricks and reckless politicians?

@djdavisiscool Actually holding a foreign currency reserve can have pros and cons. With the sanctions got activated, any foreign currency transaction basically will cost extra w the exchange fees to convert to rubble. You see China is now also applying the same strategy due to prolonged lockdown. Part of criss border movement controls the US has also been using since Covid above $600 transmission
