  3. The Coup worked out a bit while. But the second time around they seemed to have prepared for a rehearsal. The gold backed oil price was quite a brilliant tactic to hold up Ruble from falling further. Plus the low 15% debt to GDP ratio certainly helped to weather the storm. About a year later 20% inflation was curbed around 7%.. not too bad for emerging market. The window of opportunity seems to have passed I am afraid.
