As long as the option is voluntary.. for example in urgent care booking.. then i see it as a win win approach. Reduce the treatment costs upfront .. Freeing the bed much quicker later

@alice1374 i heard the big problem has been the claim reimbursement and i heard that NHS just terminated Bupa because of millions unsettled claims backlog. Basically they want the frontend to go quicker but the admin backend can't handle the settlement efficiently. I heard the same issue going on in US and Canada with claim settlement. The difference is that these private networks usually get the data directly integrated from the time a booking is submitted. However the tracking technology will charge a fee, as usual.. although the bigger the network the more likely the fee gets reduced per patient.

@-xirx- exactly and that's why i think is reasonable if they wish to try out the urgent care bookings and capture the overall savings by sharing the booking upfront with the privates . Charging extras for non residents and tourists is also a possibility when doctors availability is extremely limited ie., after certain hours and weekends .
