  1. US Big Tech fired off tens of thousands of jobs hired during Covid back in Jan to Feb 2023. That's pretty much how to rapidly halve 8%+ down to 4.9% CPI. But the core inflation (foods, rent) are still higher @5.3% Hence the Fed paused last week. Next CPI will remain to be seen
