  1. Fast,cheap and easy is why houses in the US are light framed with wood. If done correctly though it can be a great way to build.

  3. As someone who framed houses for 35 years I can tell you those plates also caused a lot of bloody hands and more. Someone was sure to catch one while setting trusses. I’ve seen them tear someone’s hand up really bad, referred to them as meat makers
