@mint8648 Merchant communities using the Hui system which first appeared under the Song dynasty. These are developments that cannot be untangled with China even if not implimented by the Chinese government of the time.

@tzufbb not really, like having possibly turkic relatives and being turkic isn't the same thing.

@jmhsieh7103 There's a big difference between Turkish elements and being Turkish (Which I assume he was trying to pass on the heavier Turkish influence). Yeah, many of the Nomadic conquerers of China (in part or whole) had actual recent Han ancestors, if that applied the other way around then China would have never been ruled by a foreign dynasty.
