  3. I think the elves and objective morality would produce an impetus for objective understandings of reality. Santa has an objective understanding of the world, thus the world itself must be objective and seeing the servants of Santa do such objective stuff reinforces that (also possible that they just conclude that only the elves, servants of Santa can do such.) On elves, they could also just as easily be taken as sacred servants/slaves of Santa, it isn't like they have much knowledgeable in what exactly goes on in the North poles and Everytime they catch a glimpse of Santa during his runs the elves would look joyous. So if anything they would be seen as sacred servants or God. Doesn't entirely save them from human enslavement but certainly means they would be treated more like a sort of high-class employee (that can't quit) than chattel. And as soon as some elf group gets to industrial revolution, well good luck humans.

  4. Have you read the works of Ted Kaczynski and if so what do you think of his analysis of modernity and predictions for industrial society. Will we ever get a 40K senerio or other senerio based on an already existing Alt-history idea like Man in the High castle or Rise of the White Huns.
