watches ecclesiastical latin decline into a small cult

Most of them seem to see Islam like the Barbarians at the Gates, not a coherent, powerful civilization in its own right.

Yeah, his ignoring of all other ideologies on the left to just focus on the loudest SJWs is bad. SJWs might impload but I doubt socialists and communists would. And JP is certainly centrist, nothing extreme is coming out of there.

Well he doesn't know shit about those places.

I do hate this people treating Africa like it is some country or village. Like there are clear regional differences btw the cores o Christianity and Islam, like no, Somalian Muslims won't somehow replace Botswanan Christians by out breeding them. This would be like saying Mormons would breed out all the other American sects or than Iranian Muslims would breed out the Chinese.
3
Yeah, it's irrelevant.

What if Tang continued their expansion into Central Asia after the Battle of Talas (None of the rebellions that followed after that crippled the dynasty)[Also the Sassanid dynasty had gone to Tang China and its prince was there at the frontlines of the Battles against the Caliphate, I imagine that if the Tang are relatively triumphant he would be made a vassal King or commandary on a Tang Iranian protectorate]. What if Viking expansion took them all the way to West Africa, establishing trade routes btw West Africa and Europe through the Atlantic by 1000 AD. What if Portugal and Ethiopia allied to destroy Mecca. What if the Ottomans conquered Rome.

@Brosowski I mean, you are kinda right but the fact still remains that Jesus didn't really have time to say much, that is why Christian Theology has historically had some very out there Heretical movements. The only reason Christianity as we imagine it isn't more diverse is the Catholic Church to stamp out the heresies and as soon as that lost its ability to do so, it went all over the place again. The internal justifications of Christianity is Jesus and he didn't even internally justify the Bible, so we have seen heresies from the beginning that basically start rejecting all but the exact part Jesus said. Like basically all a movement has to be Christian is to not reject the Jesus quotes, almost everyone else is negotiable.

@raydavison4288 what insurrection? Since when was throwing down tables an insurrection?

Depends on how I define it, like Islam is the largest religion in West and Horn Africa and those are the densest populated parts of Sub-Saharan Africa.

@lif3andthings763 You are correct but also remember that The Northern Half is Muslim and Still growing rapidly while the Southern is Christian and stabilizing. As such almot all the places at the fringes btw Muslim and Christian will be lost to Islam, including some of the densest populated regions like Southern Nigeria and Ghana. We are already seeing some of this with mass killings of (many of which are arguably genocides) of Christians in Middle and Southern Nigeria.
1
@lif3andthings763 wait there is this USA interview I saw abt it recently.
1
@gorillaguerillaDK Like come on it meet the sufficient criteria by the models of religions that can include everything we consider religions, from Pygmy naturalistic mythology to Confucianism.

I think he doesn't explain well what seems to be one of two ways of explaining what original sin is. One where is means humans are naturally very evil. Another that say, humans can never be perfectly good.
1
@EmTee-cx2ow probably someone that you don't know.
1
I don't get if you are praising or denouncing Islam.
1
"the far-right fringe becoming more associated with Christianity in the US" like I don't see this at all.
1
like which country?
1
Well, he also didn't like denounce the substructure of thousands of Jewish laws that his successors would have to integrate into his system.
1
I think you are being too uncharitable to China.
1
@MarcillaSmith And?
1
No
1
I'm gonna be like the first MegaChurch type for this Religion
1
Well, he did say that.

@adamnesico I can't remember what I meant by that.
1
I am pretty sure it is Mohism that is the Chinese philosophy that puts Benevolence above all else.
1

1
