@adityareddy5496 Korea is still Korea, Taiwanese aborigines are still Austronesian, Ethiopia is still Ethiopia and Kongo was still Kongo until colonization. Like yes there would be cultural changes but as long as they aren't colonized by someone else in the process the culture would most likely survive.

They propagandized the idea to Muslims to get Muslims allies but that was never happening.

The Japanese were already operating in South East Asia https://youtu.be/T-9rSKIh9ig And those were disproportionately merchants and mercenaries. If like WhatifAltHists said Merchants become supreme in this society, ten the Japanese merchants and mercenaries of SouthEast Asia could drag Japanese interest there. Also, the Imjin war could just as easily innoculate the Japanese against seeing an expansion into Korea and China as viable. And the war was in the first place driven by an overbloated warrior class and person ambitions of the Emperor. A sort of revolution like that won't create an overbloated warrior class.

Between the Unification of Japan and its Isolation, they were actually a pretty scary power to the Europeans in East Asia attempting conquests in the Phillipines and Taiwan. Well, they only really succeeded in Ryuku but they were feared enough that a Japanese population rampaged in Macau for like a week and were still given clemency ebcause the Portuguese didn't want to fight Japan.

Kinda already exists. The Vatican paid a Japanese company to do that one time.

The Portuguese (and Spanish) for some reason had a bad habit of letting less tolerant orders ruin the work of the Jesuits. Like the Jesuits were dong very well in China and Japan converting people until orders like the Dominicans went full austic refusing to compromise while some soldiers were busy trying to intimidate people with tales of their Empire.

I mean, he had no reason to agree. He was at the head of an expansive Muslim Empire, why would he just convert to the religion of the defeated?.

@omaryrasha7650 could say the same from the other side about the letter Muhammad sent to Heraclius.

@omaryrasha7650 that Mohammed sent a letter to Heraclius and Khosrow II telling them of the new religion and to convert but they refused.

@omaryrasha7650 I mean, that's what the Muslim sources say not like the non-Muslim sources agree. And I have read/listened to Heraclius' response.
