while it is older than the woke bullshit and I don't think you're woke. It is not more accurate than AD, It is not less confusing/more function it is even less so, it doesn't offend non-westerners any less than AD, non-Westerners don't even acknowledge it often still translating it as "Christian" rather than "Common" and AD doesn't mean Jesus it just etymologically aludes to Jesus. So what is happening here is an attempt to erase Christianity's influence from history and then you call urself a historian. I'll stick with what Oriji (another historian) uses, AD and BC. But as with an earlier commenter has asked, why not rename the Hijra calender to... I don't know, Horizon calender for the same reason. If not it becomes clear the real reason for this.
