Why does everyone forget Jesus' lost years in the Congo. Edit Also, Thomas reaching India is a tradition not a fact and many schoolars argue it was Thomas of Cana(who we are sue journeyed later) whose tradition was reapropriated to Thomas the Apostle. 5:30 It isn't surprising, the Bible states James was Jesus' brother. 12:57 It isn't Ironic given their ideas about Jesus aren't Christian 13:35 You know this can be explained by Nestorian Christians reaching there, something argued for by several Japanese and Chinese historians. Or even just Messianic Jews. 39:00 I would blame these similarties on both having a similar psychology, what Nietzsche would call life denying.

@dklurf I'm not referencing either Gospel of Thomas. It's a tradition among the Malabari Christians that their church was well established by a Thomas of Cana(tho they did exist before his arrival).

Because we know pretty clearly that was written in response to Christianity getting popular, so is a rethorical piece. It would be like believing early Christian accusations against the Jews like eating Babies.
