  1. At the very least it is Atheistic in the Abrahamic sense. Like, if a Near Easterner believes only in Djinn but not Allah and his angels it would be accurate and correct to call them Atheist. It seems like Buddhism did the same to Vedic religion, demote terms it couldn't just do away with at the time to a lesser category.
