  1. Counter argument on Matthew copying his origin story from someone else. Matthew "writing" his Gospel doesn't mean he was the one that sat down and wrote it down, he could have dictated it or worked with a group and have a scribe or scribes do the writing. Given the scribe already had access to Mark, why go around rewriting something that already has a pretty good narrative of itself?.
