  1. I do wonder if it is also that we love warm foods so this spice that simulates extreme heat, if used in smaller quantities can make food feel warmer and thus more enjoyable than it actually is. Also, pls do an episode of the "Black Peppers" of West Africa and the Indiosphere and why do those also produce and evolved a burning sensation much like Chilli peppers.
