  15. There are actually whole units assigned to collecting, cataloguing and storing/burying dead orcs. CNN even did an item on it. ('it's somewhere on YouTube) Utterly grizly, nasty work, but it hàs to be done. It started as an attempt to keep all those rotting bodies from becoming a danger to public health for people living around the battlefield, last summer, but is by now a well-oiled machine.   25. As I understand it, Russia barely held-on mainly due to the massive Lend-Lease that provided food, blankets, clothing, Bell P-39 Airacobra's and whatnot. Without that constant stream of American help, they would have lost as a whole to the Nazi's, even the callous use of pure cannon-fodder in the tens of thousands, wouldn't have stopped Hitler.

  31. Ukraine lost 60 to 100 soldiers a day in the beginning, Zelensky openly admitted that. It's a bit less now Ukraine can pummel the orcs from afar when needed. The amount of killed civilians that we know of is 200,000+ If you're a "former Journalist" It shouldn't be too hard to find-out the actual numbers. "Multiple sources" and such. The 'standard" theory of military engagements also postulates 3- to 5 invaders KIA for every defender. Do a bit of homework..

  33. The thing is: It was the Russian Army that -brutally, kept the 'peace' i.e.: kept religious and nationalist groups from wiping each other out.. Those soldiers are now being fed to the Ukrainian meat-grinder.. No more soldiers to keep the age-old feuds at bay.. And RF states that hate each others' guts have nukes stationed within their borders.. AND the keys to those nukes (part of the old Soviet-doctrine of spreading the risk, might Russia itself get nuked) "What could go wrong"

The fact that the 'Great Russian Army' is not really thàt great, only in numbers ,and not much else-- Well.. That little thing hasn't escaped separatists in mainly the Asian RF states. If/When Russia decisively loses this war, all hell is going to break loose, I'm afraid. There is centuries of old animosities between many an RF state. Added to that, as I un derstand it, many a RF state has nukes AND the keys to them, part of the old Soviet-tactics of spreading the risk, mìght Moscow get vaporized.

  46. Indeed ,and ANYBODY that has ever flown in a military helo large enough for all these men to be all 'war-ish" will know they shake like crazy.And the noise!! My gawd. Even the humble Sikorsky used by North sea oil companies to ferry personnel to the rigs.. They were LOUD inside really REALLY loud. I visited a local airbase frequently when in the service, and the common joke was : "How to recognize a chopper-pilot? You give him a cola, and check if he shakes enough for the cola to start bubbling and overflowing.." :p
