@Kr0N05 that’s the thing, isn’t it? Spot-on observation. What guarantee do we have that he doesn’t try and succeed in nixing election- and term laws? He stuffed the Supreme Court with ‘his people’.. Take a wild guess about what’s going to happen..

@robertshiell887 ahhh… but the upper echelons of colonized countries nèver minded being subjugated, permitted they could fill their pockets to the brim unhindered. Colonials have always used that. India’s elite, with very few exceptions, actually nèver had a problem with the Brits.

Yeah, well.. We can keep pointing fingers at Trumpkin and his nasty ways, but he’s just the reflection of a larger part of the US’ electorate. Remember that it was the electorate that handed that dangerous, hate-filled, greedy sociopath nutter the Oval office, knowing dàmn well what he stood for. An electorate filled with hatred, xenophobia, tiny feefee’s and envy. Deeply angry, and harbouring a flaming huge persecution psychosis, because civilization at large rejects their rather unpleasant attitudes, attitudes nó better than the worse of the orcs imho. An electorate that often calls themselves ‘Good Christians’, but with a somewhat different interpretation of the Good Samaritan than one would expect. ‘What could go wrong’ I’m not as hopeful as Jake still is. It’s going to be ‘The Western Betrayal’ of the 50’s allover again. With the added bonus of the US trying to become an ‘Empire’. I’m sorta, kinda lucky, being old and quite probably no longer there to experience the wars that will follow, this time with a bunch of nuke-equipped powers, evermore seriously considering to use that power.
