I can't understand how is it that everybody only sees the shift to the right but not the radical left which was the group that started this whole thing

Either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain

@chickennuggets5549 God is not real
24
@Proxipy wow so God created an entire race of sentient beings for the sole purpose of satisfying his narcissistic tendencies and need for attention?
24
@ProxipyIf you take a look at how people behave or have behaved from the beginning of humanity you will see clear as day that a God like the one described in the Bible cannot exist. How is it possible that so much evil can exist in a world created by an all good God? The argument about free will falls apart once you realize that humanity's free will is an illusion and we are all subject to our own conditioning either from our parents, our culture, our country, etc. The only reason you believe in God is because you were conditioned to do so and thus if you'd have grown up in Thailand for example, you'd more likely be a Buddhist, just pure chance

People that don't like philosophy

@johnniemac173 if God really exists please tell him to stop the war in Ukraine. If the war hasn't stopped by tomorrow then i'll take that as further evidence of the absence of a superior being, at least like the one depicted in the Bible

When we dream we access parallel universes

@pomponi0 I may sound angry in my previous comments but in reality i have no problem with Christians, my mother is a very Christian woman and i myself was raised as a Christian. Religion has a value in society as it provides people with hope, albeit, a hope based on falsehoods , i just enjoy theological debates and it has been the case since i was in my teens (I'm 34 now). As a consequence of my views, however, i am a very pessimistic and cynical individual and i find myself unable to trust anyone because i keep holding on to the believe that most people are evil at their core

I have already been into this existential crisis. It's fun

I pledge myself to our AI overlords

I put my trust in you, pushed as far as i can go but For all this, there's only one thing you should know

I would also add Attack on Titan even though it is a series since it deals with similar themes as in Dune

@topsecret1837 Also, I'm not "in the right", I'm not even american and only consume politics as entertainment
2
I disagree
2
The main reason men shifted to the right was because the left got radicalized first and then proceeded to demonize men in general
2
I don't even know if it's a wave or a particle
2
@rambasil I meant the culture wars

@topsecret1837 I'm not radicalized but I can see the bias in most people

@submetropolis Radicalism is when someone's point of view is forced upon others, no questions allowed. The radical left started the culture war by forcing minority + LGBT supremacy at the expense of white (mostly male) people and whoever dared to question this, was promptly cancelled and stripped of their job or friends. The right shift only happened as a reaction to these oppressive actions. (I'm not white btw)

The radical left started the culture war by preaching the supremacy of a group of people at the expense of others (mostly white males) and if anyone dared to question this, they were promptly cancelled and their lives ruined. The right shift is just a reaction to this type of oppression and it might be directly responsible for the outcome of the latest election. (I'm NOT white btw)
