  2.  @AlfredoBodega  I agree on the revolving door, but I disagree on the root of the problem. The root of the problem is there are no federal level laws preventing people who should never own a gun from buying one, or getting one from someone as a gift. It is harder to own a boat, to own a house, to have a drivers license, to get a fishing license, to get a hunting license, than to own a gun in many states. In many states to fire a gun in a public place is a misdemeanor, but jaywalking is a crime. The entire thing is laughable if it has not created a weekly mass shooting national problem.
