  1. So, why did the cop stopped in a crowded event if he fears for his life? Why not just avoid the crowd and call for backup?Why put himself in a "dangerous" position?

  2. This is like a policeman showing to a rave, by himself, asking everybody on the party to leave, they don't do what he says, he gets scared and starts to shoot up the place. It is part of their training to assess the situation and retreat if they need backup, not to be stupid and escalate the situation. Where are they training these cops?

  3.  @JPoleet  Their job is to assess the situation and decide to engage or retreat and call for backup. Not to be stupid and make things worse.
