Let me start by explaining what I mean by "the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is not to sell him one". This means we need to stop selling guns to people who do not deserve to own guns. People who has domestic violence history, have chronic history of depression mental issues, etc. The current background checks only cover federal crimes, and are not including other crimes or "read flags". In this case, this person is not a criminal, but it had a history of domestic violence. I hope this explains things. I support gun ownership of those who are responsible gun owners.
