@feha92 About your same wavelength question. If the sun emitted only light in the same wavelength as earth, it would mean the sun is unenergetic body like a planet. Remember, earth's wavelengths are mostly infrared not visible, while the sun is hot enough to release UV, visible and more energetic infrared. So you can imagine, if there was a earth like planet beside us but no star, it would be very dark and our incoming vs outgoing energy budget would be imbalanced. The earth would slowly cool. There would be geologic activity, but it would slow down after a while. And the weather from facing the sun, the sun would be so unenergetic that it earth would barely notice a thing.
The reason entropy remains relatively unchanged on Earth is because the incoming and outgoing energy is roughly the same (not exactly the same). This isn't a rule for planetary bodies, it's just circumstance that our planet is in the correct range and conditions for this to be true. Think of it like this, in the example, the sun gives us one high energy photon for every 20 low energy photons in a roughly equal energy exchange. If the sun gave us 1 low energy photon, the earth would still radiate 20 low energy photons and slowly cool. Equal energy exchange is not a given.
