You're probably just not sexist or racist enough to see it. But, I assure you that if you were a man-hating, white-woman that the guilt would be completely obvious. I have a hard time believing that people would be so quick to jump on the bandwagon of him being a pervert and possible sex-criminal if he were white or a woman. I'm a man, I happen to be white, but what I see in the video does not look like masturbation and probably isn't a lewd act either. At most he's adjusting himself and even that is rather questionable as the motion of the bag makes it rather unlikely to be even doing that much. In all seriousness, this is part of why racism remains a problem.

Because we're not in the same room with that woman. There's precisely zero chance that she's going to hop on a plane and fly all the way cross country to beat me for pointing out that she's full of it. Whereas if I were on the same train as her, I'd have to worry about whether she had mace or a weapon of some sort. Not to mention the possibility of being arrested if she assaulted me. And yes, I mean if she assaulted me.

What I'm saying is that I'd rather not get maced and then sent to prison. And yes, I'm serious about that, just because she started it, and he's likely innocent, doesn't mean that he's going to get off. He's already got his reputation destroyed, it would be just as destroyed if he denied it. On top of that, she likely would have beaten him. You can't fight back against a woman, you'll be the one that winds up in prison, even if she started it. Just because you don't actually know how things work, doesn't make it any less dangerous. Men being beaten by women are pretty much always presumed to be guilty, whether or not they actually are. Just look at this comment thread as an example. The video definitely does not show him masturbating. At least not in any sort of effective way, and yet he's already guilty.

Of course he responded with what she wanted to say, for all we know she's a mentally unstable woman and she's definitely threatening physical violence. The only way to win in a situation like that is to run away and hope that she hasn't called the cops. He may have had a stiffy and was adjusting it. And quite frankly, it's painful and potentially damaging to let it just lie there in an awkward position. That part of the body is full of delicate blood vessels that can get damaged if there's too much pressure applied. But, regardless of what actually happened, there's nothing on the video that shows he was doing anything wrong. My guess about the backpack is that it's either a matter of having a stiffy or he wanted to have it in position to protect himself against the crazy black woman that was threatening to beat him.
