  1. Chinaman, makes you sound like you're old enough to be in an assisted living facility. But, slur, that's a bit of a stretch. Chinaman, is a fairly decent translation of the Chinese word for Chinese person. And China person, is a completely literal and direct translation of the Chinese word. Now, had he used the term oriental, that's something that's clearly a slur, nobody has used that word on a person in any other way in a very, very long time.

  2. @Joseph fiorini, I fail to see what the problem with the use of the term "China Person" is. And I doubt very much you'll find many Chinese people that are offended by the use of their own word as a descriptor. Now, you may find some American born Chinese, especially ones that don't speak Mandarin, that get offended by it, but the term itself is a literal translation of the correct term used when referring to the Chinese people. If one is going to be offended by the video, that is one of the least offensive things to be offended by. The video would have been just as offensive had he swapped out the more commonly used words for Chinese people.

  3. Chinaman, is at most a weak slur. But, considering that the Chinese word for Chinese person is literally China person, calling it a slur is questionable at best. What would be a slur is referring to somebody who isn't of Chinese ancestry as a China person.
