  1. They're doing a cruddy job of that though. Tamir Rice and Eric Garner were not killed because of their color, they were killed because they made a string of extremely poor decisions. Unlike Alton Sterling who, at this point, doesn't appear to have done anything wrong. And it's rather unlikely that anything will come up that shows otherwise. But, the BLM people protested all of those and in the former two cases the evidence is out that the police didn't do anything wrong, and they still protest those deaths. It damages their credibility that they don't just jump the start, but they continue to champion victims that made huge mistakes as if they did nothing to contribute to the problem. If they want more training that's great and probably doable, but the level of paranoia is disproportionate to the actual problem. You didn't see people protesting Dylan Noble, even though he did less than what some of their martyrs did.
