  1. Yes and I think the way he reacted with all that anger just reinforces that fact. He could have asked for an FBI investigation and if he's as innocent as he's claiming to be, then there shouldn't be anything to corroborate the claims against him. But, make no mistake, even before and without the claims of sexual assault, he wasn't qualified to be on any court and he would be a disaster. He hasn't got the integrity, temperament or knoweldge to be on the court. He honestly thinks that the President can't be subpoenaed. That's terrifying. Especially given that the GOP refuses to hold him accountable for anything. It took an extremely unqualified nominee to a federal court to get Kennedy to do anything about it. And as I understand it, he was asking softball questions that any attorney should know.

  2. They could have easily confirmed somebody else. At this point the process is so fouled up that the next nominee will likely have to face an extensive background investigation as nobody is going to believe it. The other detail here is that he might well have been the only pick they have that's acceptable to Trump. He's somebody that believes that you can't subpoena a sitting President and is a huge supporter of executive privilege which is something that Trump desperately needs as much of what he' wants to do is blatantly unconstitutional. We need a system where the President is required to pick off a list put together by a bipartisan group rather than being able to pick rando nutjobs that further a political ideology.

  3. We already know that he's perjured himself, the question is going to be whether additional evidence will make it impossible for the GOP to ignore his obvious guilt. Boofed, means fart, really? How many 15 year olds do you know who have never farted and are looking forward to doing so for the first time? We already know from his own calendar that he kept for decades that he was at a party that was suspiciously like the one she claims to have been sexually assaulted at. We also know that his story has been changing without explanation and that he hasn't requested the FBI come in and clear his name. The likelihood of him being innocent a this point is extremely small. The number of coincidences that would be needed for him to be not guilty are rather substantial.

  4. I hadn't noticed that before and probably because of what Andres said, this is normal for people who are on TV. Typically if they are looking at their co-hosts there's a camera there so that you don't notice that they're looking away from the viewers at home.
