@ericworiax1277 The reason there hasn't been an offer is that McConnell won't allow a vote on it. The current proposal passed the Senate unanimously and yet we can't even get a vote on it. And yes, I'd like to see both parties stop lying, but let's be honest about which party is worse in that regards.

He's to the right of their governor. I think they can do a bit better. Perhaps they could try something novel like promising to get them jobs that are better than those crappy coal mine ones. And then actually do it. I doubt very much that the coal miners that are watching their coworkers dying of black lung are super attached to the job other than the money that they're making and the lack of other jobs that pay the bills.

They've allowed him to get away with stuff for many years now. They won't punish him for basically anything he does and they're surprised when he screws them over? They should have primaried him repeatedly until he either lost or started to get on board to important priorities.

Yes, but he claims to be a Democrat which makes him a useful idiot. They can blame him for anything that the party doesn't want to do and people seem to buy that BS. The Democrats could primary him and probably get him voted out of office, if they wanted to, it's just that they need him to vote the wrong way on key votes, or those things might actually happen.

I don't think they expect him to start acting like a Democrat, they're counting on him to be that guy that always votes the wrong way on key votes so that they can claim that they were trying, but not having to actually worry about actually succeed.
