  1. Here in WA, they required us to pick party affiliation on the envelope next to the signature and it has to match with the vote inside on the ballot or they won't count the vote. Tens of thousands of votes will never be counted because of that. There's various reasons why they don't match, included newspaper staff that aren't allowed to select a party affiliation.
