  1. These kinds of things are pretty hypocritical. I got run out of the profession for refusing to tolerate racist things being said about me, by gasp, making an appropriately worded email to somebody at my own college. There are no professional standards for teaching any longer, as long as you're not either a white man or on the approved list of ethnicities to denigrate. Otherwise, everything goes and there's a reason why so many young people think this is OK, it's been normalized.
