@DUCKSAREEVILLLLLLLL And when that body is capable of living without the mother, then we'll talk. Whether or not a fetus has it's own DNA isn't relevant to the fact that there is a required mother involved that may not have consented to any of it. The situation sucks, but there's not many ways of resolving the issue.

@@JohnnySilverfoote Clearly, you don't know anything about guns then. They were armed with standard service weapons. As in they didn't have hundreds of rounds, the rate of fire wasn't that high and they were still massively outnumbered. Even if every shot killed somebody, they'd still have been in deep trouble. This whole thread is rather surreal, a bunch of ignorant people trying to make excuses as to why this wasn't really that big of a deal.

@letthatsinkin7879 I have, have you? They've been going after the ring leaders and the idiots that provided the most proof that they intended to commit a crime. I wouldn't expect everybody to be charged, there's a logistical problem in doing so. It does not mean that what happened was any less criminal. It just means that we don't have a large enough criminal justice system to charge that many people.

Umm, but that's how it's always been. The question here is whether or not they have to let the person on the ballot at all.

The problem there is that it takes years for a conviction, are we supposed to wait until that happens to bar people from being on the ballot? And if not, then what should be the relevant standards. The fact that the justices that he appointed didn't recuse themselves tells us just how corrupt the court really is.
