  3. I had 3 other third parties available. For me personally, I found Howie more compelling than the other options.

  4. I'm "privileged" to live in a state where my vote doesn't count. It was kind of a tough call as basically all the tertiary candidates were worth consideration. Ultimately, I wound up voting Green because they seemed slightly better and had some hope of getting enough support for recognition.

  5. Same here. I'm not really independent though, I'm specifically 3rd party, any party, where available and challenger when there's no 3rd party to vote for.

  7. Same here, my vote doesn't count due to my state being reliably blue, but at least a vote for one of the 3rd party candidates could result in federal recognition.

  10. Sawant is terrible, she's pretty thoroughly despised by pretty much everybody in the city. She wins in one particularly left leaning part of town, but she achieved those things in spite of herself. She's easily set us back years as she keeps opening her mouth and getting the city sued and has basically no credibility. She's more of a figurehead than an effective politician.

  11. A general strike probably won't be enough, it's likely to take a campaign of assassinations to change things. I hope that I'm wrong about it, but I think we're too far along for lesser means to work.
